I think that it is do-able, but there are a lot of considerations that need to be thought of. I, too, am considering a destination wedding (Vegas or Hawaii), however, with economic times the way that they are right now, it's hard to ask someone to spend their hard-earned savings on making a special trip just to see me get hitched. Having said that, I have noticed that many, many destination wedding services have "web-casted" weddings. So, those people who couldn't come can still see it in real time! I think that's pretty neat. Anyway, I plan on having a huge reception for everyone that I would like to invite to a local wedding but don't want to haul with me half way across the country. It seems like the best of both worlds to me and also budget-friendly for my family and friends. I haven't decided yet. I'm thinking about Sept. 25, 2010 as the date, so I have awhile to get things together in my mind!! Best of luck to you!!!
