Walk Down Song/Average Sevenfold!

So My FH wants me to walk down to a A7X song, its a beautiful song but I dont think any of our family are going to Understand why we chose that song. Here is the Song lyrics....What do you think? :)

Your hazel green tint eyes watching every move I make.
And that feeling of doubt, it's erased.
I'll never feel alone again with you by my side.
You're the one, and in you I confide.

And we have gone through good and bad times.
But your unconditional love was always on my mind.
You've been there from the start for me.
And your loves always been true as can be.
I give my heart to you.
I give my heart, cause nothing can compare in this world to you.

And we have gone through good and bad times.
But your unconditional love was always on my mind.
You've been there from the start for me.
And your loves always been true as can be.
I give my heart to you.
I give my heart, cause nothing can compare in this world to you.

"...And I will love you 'til forever
Until death do us part we'll be together
So take my hand and hold on tight
And we'll get there
This I swear"

Why did you pick the song? Are you going to have a program you could put your reason in the program. The lyrics are really pretty I might have to download the song to actually listen to it.

Dear Miss F,

The lyrics look nice, appropriate for a wedding ceremony. If you feel a need to explain your choice, just put that in the program. Another option is to ask the officiant to say a brief explanation at the beginning or during the ceremony.

Yay! Rock on!! I like it! I don't know that song, but Avenged Sevenfold is awesome. We are doing our first dance to Metallic's "Nothing else matters". It could help some of the older, or "less hip" guests if you explained why you liked that song in the program. Our logic has been, our friends and family know us, and they know we would do at least SOMETHING unconventional.

Okay, well I am totally 100% biased because, this was our first dance song. We were together for 3 years exactly on our wedding day, and not ONCE had he dedicated a song to me. About 2 weeks before the wedding, he heard this song on my brother's CD and he said that he wanted that to be "our song". Well just because it was the only input he gave, I HAD to run with it--it meant a LOT to me. It was untraditional, but so beautiful. He even sang every word to me while we danced-it was the most special moment of our day.

If you like it, then go for it. You will not regret it :-)

EDIT: By the way, what we considered doing (but ran out of time) was to have my brother play the guitar (acoustic) and my friend the piano and have my cousin sing it. Maybe that would work better for a ceremony :-)

That is an AWSOME song! One of my favorites actually! I say go for it - the wedding is about you two, and that is definitly a great way to personalize it
