Luva- god that sounds heartbreaking. Yeah might be a rental so I can breakdown in private. LOL.

Heidi - I looove John and Joan Cusack both. Love High Fidelity.

"What kind of chance does this relationship have?"

"What you want like a number, like a percentage?"

"Yeah give me a number."

"Nine. We have a nine percent chance."

Also love Say Anything of course ("I gave her my heart - she gives me a pen.") and the classic 80s movie BETTER OFF DEAD.

"Two dollars!!! I want my two dollars!!!!"

Sorry. Im a total movie quoting Geek.

Luv - I would have fully supported your decision to name your son Aragorn, LOL.  (Now I'm thinking of Viggo Mortensen all scruffy and dirty.  YUMMY!!!!!!!)  I used to have a parakeet named Samwise Gamgee and my sister had a snake named Strider.

That was about 20 years before the movies came out. lol. Most people would have just thought it was a wierd name (but hey! We could have called him Ari!)

Kelley, it sounds as though you and I need to get together for a John Cusack marathon.  Lloyd Dobbler is quite possibly the best male romantic lead of all time.  I also love Grosse Pointe Blank.  The scene in the convenience store cracks me up.

So how far back in time do you think they will go with this one?? I mean on the previews it shows ..(what's his name again) the one that started it? Anyway.... I try not to watch too much of the previews .. just so I wont have ANY clue of what's going to happen.  Maybe we will go see it tonight...

Kelley, I'm so glad I'm not the only one who loves Zoolander. :)  Whew!  Nice to know I'm liking the smart silly comedies cuz I do  like Anchorman, Airplane & Naked Gun too.  I've yet to see a Seth Rogan movie, something to do in the dark depths of my winter hibernation. :)

Seth Rogan is hilarious.  He's my favorite part of The FOrty Year Old Virgin.  That movie cracked me up, mostly because I used to work at Circuit City and it was totally like that, LOL.

I didn't see Evan Almighty.  The only reason I saw Bruce Almighty was because it took place in my hometown, LOL.

I really enjoy anything with a smart humor.  I like anything Judd Apatow...Anchorman, 40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Superbad.  They are all really funny but in a smart way. Not stupid humor (well mostly NOT)

I am not a romantic comedy fan. I used to be.  I do like the usual Sleepless in Seattle and When Harry Met Sally. The Holiday with Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet was actually pretty good. Thats the most recent romantic comedy I liked. I tend to shy away from them since they are all bascially the same.

I am VERY picky when it comes to movies.  Mostly b/c they are so expensive to go see so I have a hard time spending $10 on something I probabaly won't like.

Anyone like Atonement??  I thought it was SOOOO awful. I tried reading the book but it was really confusing with all the flashing back and forward and sideways.

We also have all the Saw movies. I'm not sure what they're going to do with Jigsaw (I thought he was dead and the chick took over) but the last three have been more about his past and how he became Jigsaw. PLUS I know there will be a Saw 6 because that show Scream Queens is an audition to win a role in Saw 6.

I might get to see it for my birthday...
