Save the date wording for a ceremoney and reception after eloping

My fiancee and I decided that we want to get married as soon as he gets back from Iraq. The probelm being, we can't have an acctual wedding with a bunch of people till a few months after. I dont want to call it a vow renewal cause we will have only been married about 5 months anyways, can I just call it the wedding on the save the dates and invitations or is that in bad form?

Always in love with my Marine!

You get one wedding.  What you're doing is a vow renewal and a reception.  That's fine, but call it what it is.
