"Everyone experience is different" this is true. I have an eight year old girl whom i had at the age of eighteen, that pregnancy was awesome compared to all that i heard. i am terrified of pain, so someone suggested to me that i should walk alot while i was pregnant, so i use to walk a mile everyday.  My mom also read somewhere that red rasberry tea helps with labour and healing the uterus after labour, so i drank that twice daily.

The day my daughter was born:  It all began with me going to clinic for my regular check up, my mom dropped me at the clinic corner (as she regularly did) and i walked through. When i got to the clinic, there was a note on the door that said, the governor general is in town today so there will be no clinic, all nurses are at the hospital.  There i was stuck there with no ride, no phone for an hour.  Then a nurse pulled up, she came to pick up some supplies. She gave me a ride home. At about 10am i started to feel a little bit of pain, like gas pain and i knew i didnt eat that morning. So i called my dad to bring me something to eat. When he got there he said Deidra you in labour with that pain (this is 4 days before the baby was due), i responded, no! its just gas its not sharp. I also remembered that at the clinic they told me when you go in labour you would show a streak of pink in your discharge, or your water bag would break and neither had happened to me so i couldnt be in labour. My dad then took me to the doctor, we got there at 11:20am. The nurse took me in the back and checked my cervix, then she said i was 9cm dilated and if i didnt come in i would have delivered my baby at home. Then my water bag broke. and the pain hurt like HELL!!  by 11:55am i had a 6lb 14oz baby girl.

During my 9 months of pregnancy i had no morning sickness at all. And as for tearing, well, they cut me and the stitches down there is nothing to play with.  In my town they dont give epidermal to teanage pregnancy, i guess they figure if you go through hell you wont want to return shortly after.  And i havent.

Now i want to get pregnant, i have been married for 4months and trying for 1. My husband doesnt have any kids and he really wants one. I just hope my next pregnancy be as easy as the first, but there's never a guarantee.

Thank you so much.  No he has four others but it is her first. I am not close to the other kids so this is my first.  Unfortunately to the other kids I am the evil stepmother so they want nothing to do with me.  Oh well their loss because this baby is going to be so spoiled.  He already has everything and he just got here.

That's so exciting!

You're right it is their loss to not have you be a part of their lives.  I'm sure you will make an excellent grandma!

Congratulations on the new greandchild Kennysoldwife!

As for me.... I took another pregnancy test after work. This time it was a Clear Blue. It was a definite positive! I am sooo happy. I started crying. I love my husband and our 3 yr old daughter more than anything in the world, and now there will be another child to add to the mix. I can't describe my happiness!

Good luck to everyone else trying. This was my first month TTC. I can't believe it happened so quickly.

All three of my co-workers are pregnant and they're due within a month apart.  I just have to say that between hanging with them and reading these posts, I really don't need to go out and by the pills since this is probably enough contraception for me.  Dear goodness, I've been lugging around this idea of having a baby for quite some time, but I just can't bear any of these pregnancy stuff happening to me; I want to have a baby, but dear goodness, it just seems like it would be total annihilation to my body.  I think I might just be too much of a hypochondriac and too shallow for pregnancy...but I'm still a sucker for the way babies smell, so I might start trying this September.

CONGRATS CELINY!!!  HOW EXCITING!!  How did your hubby react??  I'm so happy for you (o:

Star - I had to have an iv in my cervix to flush out all of the meconium inside of me.  Once they broke my water, they realized that Joey had pooped A LOT inside of me and they had to insert the iv to flush it out with saline solution.  It was all pretty wild, when they told me he had passed a bowel movement (or a few by the looks of it!!) inside of me, that's when I finally broke down.  By that point it had been 50 hours and I was exhausted and I know a couple of people who had inhaled their poop inside the womb so I was a nervous reck.  The doctor told me I read too much.  Nice bedside manner huh.  Grrr!!  Thank God he only needed to be suctioned out a little bit and had no other problems with it.

My husband is very excited. He was kind of shocked at first, and didn't believe me. I had to show him the pregnancy test. He hugged me and kissed me. Later when we lied down in bed together, he put his hand on my upper stomach and said, "hi baby." I said, "it's not way up there." So he put his hand on my pelvic bone and said, "hi baby." I said, "it's not on my crotch either." LOL

I thought I would show you guys a couple pictures from my last pregnancy.

And this next picture is of me and my daughter the day our wedding.

Congrats Celiny!  Great pictures!  I can't wait to see how this pregnancy progresses for you!  My hubby talks to the baby belly all the time too.  He loves it when she kicks at the sound of his voice.

Celiny that picture of you and your daughter is so beautiful, you look beautiful and she is so sweet looking!  That is also sweet how your husband reacted, I think mine would probably do the same, not believe me at first either.  Is your little girl excited to be a big sister or are you going to wait a while to tell her?

Rena did they decide to suction it out because at that point you were still supposed to be doing a natural birth?  Or would they still have done that if they knew you were going to have a C section?  Sorry I'm so unknowledgeable about this kind of stuff, good thing you ladies are here and willing to answer questions for us baby-morons Lol.

Congrats on having a girl Janice I never noticed that your signature said that before, Faith Ann is a beautiful name as well I'm sure she'll grow to love it (:

I really should have waited until getting pregnant before I came on here, all these stories might make me chicken out now :S

The things that you are reading are very rare incidents it just happens that they look concentrated on this board.  Most pregnancies progress normally.  A little morning sickness, a little breasts tenderness, a little bladder weakness, a big belly and some pain at the end before you have a beautiful bundle of joy.

Usually if a baby has a bowel movement in the uterus it is at the end of the pregnancy and they are old, meaning possibly overdue.  even then it is rare and they know about it and just give the baby antibiotics and everything is fine.  My youngest daughter who was 1 1/2 weeks overdue had a bowel movement, when they broke my water they could tell.  They just had to alert the NICU.  After she was born they took her to the NICU and put her on antibiotics for a few days she was fine.

I want to shoot her sometimes but that is just because she is too much like me for my taste.

Don't be afraid, it will be just fine.  As I said if I could have I would have had more children.  Unfortunately due to a genetic problem I like most women in my family ended up loseing my uterus at a young age.
