Simone: We just found my mom's outfit at Macy's. She's 5"1' and wears a size 6 and we found a few things that we considered.

 Good luck!

Hello ladies,

It is getting pretty crazy these days isn't it?

Davesbride- your hair looks beautiful, it really goes well with your dress.

Chica- we picked "One Love" by Bob Marley I thought it would be a a fun way to end the ceremony.

Ness- sounds like you have it all under control, my planning is going well I go this afternoon to my final fitting, I am really looking forward to that,  next Wednesday I am going to go and meet with venue manager and give him our final count (120) and other than that I feel like I will just be waiting and worrying that I have overlooked something.  Oh well at this point I am just really trying to relax and enjoy the last stretch of our planning.

I hadn't thought a recessional song. Welp that's one more thing added to the list, lol.

My BFF (also MOH) is using "no one" by alicia keys.

Okay so I posted photos of my card box, wreath, centerpieces and the placecards I made. Still have to finish my cake topper!

The centerpiece is from my florist who made a sample for me. I really liked them. I'm adding a kind of ribbon with scrolls to the vases.

Cute Pics!

Thanks for the compliments!  We are doing the traditional song for our recessional song, except that it is "celtic" sounding.

Beauti- We chose "No One" as our Grand Entrance song.

I'll be so glad when my bridal shower is over on Saturday.  Until then, I am super busy and it is stressing me out.  The bridesmaid that is throwing me a bridal shower wanted me to choose a place.  I had one person offer her house (I felt weird about asking people if I could use their house), but the house is cluttered.  So my friend that owns the house is like, when are you coming over to clean.  The bridesmaid that is throwing the shower doesn't want to help, so it will be Me, FH, and my sister/MOH.  I also need to clean my own house, workout,... So, I'm going to clean for 2 hours and then after that she will just have to deal with people seeing her cluttered house.  I used to clean her house as a job and I think she is trying to get a free house cleaning out of it.  She was like, I'll get my room a little more organized so it won't be hard to clean.  I told her, no one will be in her room, so we won't clean it.  At this point, I am so over the whole thing.  I don't really need a bridal shower, as my registry is all "luxury" items.  However, my aunt will be in from Colorado and I want her to be included in a wedding activity. Anyway, I'm just so ready to be done with all the planning and stress.  Anyway, on a good note, I only have 11 more days to work after tonight's shift is over.  My last night of night shift is the 5th and my last day of work is June 13 and I don't go back until August 6...YEAH!!!

Well, I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Wow that's a long vacation you're getting!

I'm only off from June 18th-July 7th (almost 3 weeks). I'm SO considering taking sick leave to have another week, lol.

Ahhh... the benefits of working in the Education field : )  I would consider the sick leave if you never use it.  I love time off from work.  Well, I'm off to watch FH's boys (at work) graduate.

Yes, I must also agree, I cannot wait until I am a teacher and have the benefit of summers off!

I like that card box and wreath...very cute!

So yesterday, I got all the BM gifts purchased. Each girl gets a vera bradley makeup bag, clinique lip gloss, their earrings for the wedding, a clinique bronzer (with brush) and a sample of Happy. Then I got my sister a really pretty amethyst ring from a jewelry store since she is my MOH....I kinda spent a lot on that lol, but I was really excited about it and she loved it! I have some stuff for my flower girls and each of my Jr BMs are getting a webkinz. It is such a relief to have that finished!

So....I am so glad it is almost the weekend! I just need a break even though for me it was only a 3 day work week lol and tomorrow I leave early and then come back....but I'm just so tired of work...I wish I could be off now until I get back from the honeymoon!!!

So, I guess I will talk to all you girls later!

The wreath and cardbox are gorgeous! they turned out so well!!

im jealous of those of you who get summers off! i don't even get summer off while im in school!

i think FH and I are just going to go with the over done traditional wedding march...its just always made me think of weddings and its so upbeat. <shrug> at this point i dont even care! lol

what are your FH getting for groomsmen and ushers? we don't really want to do the flasks because many of them have been GM before and how many flasks does one person need? lol

OMG I get married a week from today! I am soooo excited! I just got a bunch of stuff together last night and I really hope it all goes smoothly. I am so nervous about my dress. It is at my parents house and I can't wait to get it here and put it on again. I just want to look beautiful for my FH :) Anyone else feeling excited/nervous?

I'm ready to get this show on the road Becky!!!!

Tomorrow starts OUR month y'all can you believe it!!!! There the countdown will be anywhere from 6-27 days to go!!

We finished our month long counseling session. I can't really say that I learned anything new about FH but it was refreshing to hear his views on certain things and it was great to see how the Bible has perfect instructions for a good marriage.

We applied for the license today and it should be back Wednesday, I'm so freakin excited. I can't wait to see that piece of paper!

We have hit a minor snag with the tuxes. The company called the dress shop on wednesday and told them that the vests that were picked out for the GMs tuxes were discontinued. And apparently it's BEEN discontinued long before the order was made, this didn't just happen recently. At this point, I don't even care (as long as they didn't make an error with my dress, lol). I told the owner of the dress shop that FH doesn't make a decision by the end of today to just order plain black vests/ties. I mean hell, that certainly isn't the worst thing that can happen.

Music is back to being an issue. FH does not like alot of the stuff I picked for the events of the reception. So back to square one on that one. Thank goodness I decided not to put the actual song selections on the programs--which reminds me, I have to call the lady over those to see when I can pick them up

We got moved in yesterday and let me tell you that was a terrible ordeal, lol. The movers were awesome and people pittched in but that was ALOT of crap to move. As I sit here among MOUNDS of unpacked boxes, I just wanna scream!!! Then I had to get groceries today and that's added to the clutter!

I had my shower last night and OMG it was so fun. I have such sweet co workers to throw that for me. We got a good bit of stuff from the registry.... but that also adds to the mess I have to put up, lmao.

Well i'm off to put groceries up and take a nap. After that I'm going back to the old apartment to do a final cleaning. I'll be glad when life can resume! I've rambled enough today. Talk to y'all later!
