We Need Mini Honeymoon Ideas, Please! :-)

My FH and I have ran into a bit of a dilemma where our Honeymoon is concerned.  I've heard that it's a good idea to book your Honeymoon 9-12 months ahead of time so, I'm trying to get things in perspective now (I'm one of those gotta-have-everything-ready kinda brides).  Here's the thing:

We were originally planning on going on a 7 Day Land & Sea Package in Florida but because his job may not be done with a major project by the time we are married (June 2009) we have decided to post one that particular trip.  Now our plan is to do something on a smaller scale right after our wedding and do the big trip for our one year anniversary.  Here's our addition issue:

We live in Boise, Idaho, and would like to get out of the cool weather and into the warmer (we are still kinda cool in June) so I can lay out comfortably.  :-)   We just want something new, too.  We are thinking Southwest but can't figure out anything that doesn't involve golf courses galore.  We are open to other warm locals in the 48 states but want to avoid Florida (that's our other trip).  Also, we don't want to spend too much since our other trip is already very expensive.

Can anyone help us out?  You have no idea how helpful you can be to us!  Anything would be awesome and VERY appreciative!

What about San Antonio TX, it really is beautiful down there and warm, and there really is no bad time to go (besides in the middle of a hurricane) I lived out side of napa Ca beautiful weather during that time of year Sana Cruz Ca and its not that far from San Fran (if you have ever wanted to go there) I hope this helps

Lets not all get caught up in our wedding. Remember we should not only be planning for a our wedding but more so we should be planning for  our marriage. More so then fighting over shades of peach, tuxs, cake flavors and only god knows what else. Because the next morning it is over, guests are gone the flowers have died the cake well lets face it 1/2 of it was tossed out. Cinderella is still a maid, the limo is now a pumpkin And there is life to face ok after wild crazy monkey sex for 7 nights straight, lets not kid out selfs there are priorities After its all gone there's still bills to pay and a job to go back to

Going to the Chapel December 6th 2008
