We used a Swarovski crystal Christmas Tree topper. Our wedding was in December and it matched the snow/ice theme we had. Plus, we now use it as our Christmas Tree topper every year!

Ours sat on the edge of the cake and then we had fresh dahlias on top.

Blissfully married since September 22nd.

I bought a vintage cake topper off ebay to use on my cake - its from the 1950's and the bride is wearing a lace skirt so its really cute. I liked it so much I've bought more and I'm planning on using them as the centerpieces on all of my tables. Both me and my fiance are theatre people though and I collect vintage clothing so it fits us perfectly, you should use something that fits you.

First, B2B that sounds so pretty and so sweet that your mom gave it too you.

When I was younger, my parents had their cake topper out, it was two swans that made a heart.  I always liked the idea of something glass and not the little bride and groom figures.

I am a  big fan of the Willow Tree Figurines so I will be using the Promise Cake Topper. I love it and I think it matches how we feel for each other.

WE know what we want...now if only we can FIND it online in a store that still carries it. It is the Seraphim Classics "Eternal Love" cake topper. Bride and Groom kneeling with and angel over them. It is very frustrating that I can't find it though!

Denna! I have the same cake topper!! I loved the full-sized figurine, but it was too big to use on the cake, and I couldn't find anything else I liked. Just when I gave up on it, we got one in at work and i bought it!!! lol

To the OP--Its really up to you. I love like 12 cake toppers.. it was hard to choose just one, but when I saw this one, I knew it was the one for me (just like a PP said--more than my dress lol).

And to Springorchid- it's nice to hear of someone else who had a swan cake topper! lol

Willow Tree Figurine - Together

Ours is actually a willow tree figurine as well, it is "together" I'm not sure if this picture is going to load but if it does there it is. I am a bit worried about the weight though

When is my wedding

MrsLewis - May I ask where you purchased your cake topper?  I am looking for an initial one but I don't want a dinky little thing and I love yours, I would like mine in silver.

Thanks!

Of course!  :)  That's just a picture off of the brides.com website, but I purchased a topper that looks just like that for half the cost off of eBay.  I haven't recieved it yet, so I can't comment on the quality, but she has tons to choose from.  The seller is Bridal By Chic Sparkles.  With shipping, the total was $68.90.  It is 6in., and she does not charge for multiple colors of crystals.  She helped me choose the color, and has been great with communications.....I'll let you know how the quality is when I recieve it, which I am hoping is any day!  Thanks for asking.
