Cake Dummies are in Which do u like "falling over" or "falling into" pics

See...nooo stress...don't care...Delivered stuff to cake lady and our dummies are in.  These are what is going to be fake on our cake.  The top styrafoam(sm) and bottom one still need to be cut at an angle.  Our bottom layer will be actual cake and also cut at a slant.

Now I can't decide which I like best!!..Should our cake fall over(original idea)..or look just funky like it's falling into itself??

I also had no idea they put "dummy" layers on cakes.  How crafty!

I like #2 because it looks more realistic!  But I love the concept, very different!

I like both...the second one is more common...I have seen a lot of "mad hatter" cake styles popping up on different websites. My Mom is a cake decorator and has had more and more requests for this style (#2).  However, I have never seen a cake like #1!  It is very cool!  If youre going for something different, I would definitely go with #1...I dont think this would be possible with real cake and most people dont know about dummy cakes, so you may have a cake that no one has ever seen before and will talk about for some time even after the wedding!  Either way, I think your design is fantastic and Im sure it will look great...be sure to let us know what you decide!  And post a pic afterwards if you can...I would love to see the reall thing!

I like the first one better, just because I've seen the 2nd mad hatter look a lot more.  I've never really come across a falling over one, that's awesome!

Cake #1 I say go with your original design since it can be created,it's unique and fun..plus you drew your own illustration of it so it is special because it was your vision for your wedding cake

Oh...I thought I did like #2 better...but I think I would rather keep our original design...only because you really don't see any cakes like that

...Can't wait to see how it turns out....

I LOVE the second one! Plus I think it might hold up better... That is if you guys are doing a cake topper. Very creative either way
