LOL Christy thats okay, its not your fault that rats freak me out to the point of heart palpatations lol... Im just staying away from that page....

Artbride, thats why I chose Christmas as my "theme" for our wedding. Well I chose it because Im obsessed with Xmas nad always wanted a Christmas-y type wedding ... but also because I used ALL colors. Christmas colors!! Emerald green, blue, red, white lights, silver and gold. I just filled up big bowls with shiny ormaments and called it a day. and it looked great. so yeah... colors is sort of like a "color scheme" that people follow for their BM dresses, flowers, linens (sometimes), and whatever else. I guess people have colors so that everything doesnt clash...

but Im with you. Im not crazy about the whole color thing either. I have no confession right now. Im just bored.

Mmm, I guess my colors are blue, then. And red and yellow, I guess. Maybe I'm better off not having colors. I've never been a real mitchy-matchy person. I looked for blue invites, but didn't find any that we liked, so our invitation is probably going to be yellow and pale blue, since it's the one we seem to like best.

So my confession of the day is that as much as I LOVE my job, I seriously love days off. And paid holidays are just so much more satisfying than weekends. I love it, especially when I don't have anything important that I need to do on my day off. I really, really do love sitting around doing nothing. LOVE it! Anyway, I also confess that I just CALCULATED how much money I am being paid to just sit on my ass today. I've never thought to do that before, but it's really satisfying to know. And not only did I calculate the total for the day, but I also calculated my hourly rate (which, for some reason, I have NEVER thought to calculate before), and I even broke it down further to figure out how much I am being paid PER MINUTE to sit around and do nothing on a holiday. The 'per minute' rate is not nearly as exciting as the total for a whole day's worth of ass-sitting, but I think I can get some level of satisfaction from it.

Anyway - THIS is why I have no wedding planning done. It's because I use my time off for ridiculous stuff like this. Oh, by the way - I changed a couple things on our registries the other day and had to re-do EVERY SINGLE SPREADSHEET! That'll be my excuse for not having colors - I spent too much time reorganizing my 2 dozen registry items spreadsheets! :)

My confession... I really what to commit some violent act towards my fmil and that's wrong. I'm just so sick of her criticisms and her views, which she says are typical southern. If that's the case why can I get along great with all other southerners but her and her twin daughter? grr, I'm just so sick of this, and it probably wouldn't be this bad if she's always been like this, but it's only just really started since Thanksgiving.

I confess that I really enjoy referring to myself as 'Artbride.' I kind of wish it was my real name... :)

lol, ArtBride...I always refer to myself as "eek," but those are my initials anyway. Yes, please post a picture of your vase! I told FH about your present and we've decided to take your picture and post it on our wedding site as and example of "what not to get us." Why do old people think that's what we want or need? Crystal vases, pewter candlesticks, twelve sliver picture frames....THAT crap can stay at Macys....get us a crockpot or slow-cooker or a new vacuum cleaner, something that we can USE....

Yeah, we have "wedding colors," but my bridesmaids dresses don't follow the theme (or actually I added the color to our theme, but they are the only representation). But I hate when people see the BM dresses and comment, "Oh, but those aren't your colors." Oh? Really? Well, then be happy YOU weren't asked to be in the wedding party.

Christy...that's a freaking crazy dream. I recently had one where my FH went off with his ex-fiance and I followed him (we were living on some big ship-like thing) and found him having sex with her and another girl. XXX-graphic sex. Needless to say, I was livid and super pissed at FH when I woke up for absolutely no reason. Sometimes our subconscious just can't be explained. At least, I wouldn't want my subconscious to explain THAT one to me, lol.

My confessions today are that though I love my job, I despise office politics...and I can't stand Jessica Alba (this is a recent phenomenon...I don't know why, just something about her makes me want to slap her)....I freaking love commercials...and yeah, my work crush has gotten ten times worse....crap....

Eeek - I'm glad I haven't had a dream about my FH and his ex.  I probably would have killed him.

My confession tonight - I really really really miss FH at night.  I really hate him working nights.  And he hasn't called me yet.  I hate it because I can't sleep.  I am used to him being wrapped around me while I am sleeping.  I am going to go nuts when he goes on a job that is going to take him away for weeks or months at a time.  We sleep with my back to him and he has his arm wrapped around me and snugged up against me.  He kisses me on the back of my neck before we go to sleep.  Our legs are intertwined.  I just can't sleep without him there, unless I pass out from exhaustion.  Lord, is this going to take some getting used to.

It really sucked at first... but now i have gotten use to having the bed to myself at night... so when hes off on weekends.... sometimes its hard to sleep... but its nice having him home at nights on the weekend... he is so cuddly...

Thanx msdupont,  My Aunt Joyce said the same thing.  Her husband does the same thing as FH and she said, "just think of the money he is bringing home."  I am not in it for the money, but it does make it easier knowing that I don't have to worry about the bills and other neccesities.  And we are able to save alot of money.  I just miss him.

so I confess that I have been gone for what seems likes forever. Me and the new hubby don't have internet at our apartment and probably wont get it because we are going to move in thre months. The only time am around the internet is when I am at school and I am only there two days a week. I am having internet and brides.com withdrawls. But I also confess that I feel like nothing major has happended while I was gone. Maybe i just havn't read enough yet but where did everyone go?

I also confess, I hate my neighbors and secretly do everything in my power is annoy them because they annoy me so much. i also confess that I miss my dog (which is actually my parents dog) so freaking much that I have considered kidnapping him from my parents house. It gets really lonely in the apartment because DH works late and I have no one to talk to.

I also confess that I am annoyed with my single friends because now that we are married they seem like they can never hang out with me, plus one of them who was a BM in my wedding went on this whole rant about two weeks after my wedding, exclaming how love was fake and people only got married for entertainment. Why would you agree to be in my wedding if you thought it was fake?

Anyway Welcome back. I have no confessions, just wanted to say hello cuz Im a tad bored. My husband is napping. AGAIN. Okay thats my confession. Im resentful of him because he is able to NAP to easily and so often; while I have NEVER had that talent.

Kelley, I want to change my answer on your Survey thread.  After you die, you get a nap and a dog.

I confess I am confused why MrsDupont changed her name to AOTB.

Kelley,

My FH naps all the time! During our pre-marital counseling we had to list 5 things that annoy us about the other person. For one of mine I put FH's napping all the time. I can totally feel for you, I'm not a napper either!

Confession of the day: I can't wait to cut my hair.

I'm ALWAYS growing it out.  It gets long, I chop & donate, keep the short hairstyle for a few months, and grow it out again.  It reached maximum length 6 months too early.  So now I just have to wait.

And FH is one of those "long hair" guys.  I've been in growth mode ever since I met him 2 years ago.  I tell him I'm cutting it on July 6, because then "he'll have to love me anyway."
