Is a gown named after you?
Posted: Aug 10, 2007 6:34 PM

This is what happens when I'm bored at work.  I google random crap.

Today I decided to see if I had a gown in my name.  So I googled "rachel wedding gown" and I found some ugly ones, but I also found a really cute one!

Here is "the Rachel" which I choose to believe was made particularly with ME in mind!  (kidding of course)

Do YOU have one?

What a fun thread!  I just had to go and look for a "Nikki" gown after reading your post!  Here is the best one that I found:

Ha! I would have looked at this and done a similar test (becasue I often Google mine and my friand names just for fun) but it's already been done becasue my name is Rachel too!  What is really funny is that my dress is empire waist and has a  gold ribbon under the  bust!  What does your dress look like in real life?

I can't wait to be his wife!

I'd never thought of doing that, but then again, I've never really liked my name much. Always thought it was too plain, plus it's a really popular name, so there's a ton of us (in the UK anyway).

Here's the Emma gown I found though, it would be better without the huge flower on the sash.

At least you all found wedding gowns!  All I found was a polka dot summer dress!

It's cute!  My name is not that common, so I wasn't especting to find a dress.
Hold up!  I typed Marisol wedding gown instead of dress and got this!
Get out of here!  There's no way this would be my wedding dress!!!  This looks like a summer dress that I would maaaaybe wear if it was a halter or strapless!!!

Yes.... I know there's a bunch (Danielle) because I ran across them looking for my own dress. When I googled it this is the first one I came up with. Definitely not designed for me.

OMG these are fantastic! It's fun. I had always though that wedding gown names sounded like "role call at the bunny ranch" (I wish I could take credit for that but I cant - poster long past said it!) but I never though to do it before now.

That's great MyEternal314! So cool that yours kinda resembles hers! Mine was fitted the same actually, and had a sash, although it wasn't strapless. Awesome!

LOL - I looooove Danielle!  That would definitely be for a wedding at the bunny ranch!

Opps. Forgot to say, this is the Angela gown by Maggie Sottero. Beautiful but to big for my small frame.

Pamela Gown

Maggie's "Pamela" gown. Totally not my type, but pretty.

The wedding will be lovely, but it's the next day and every day after that makes me truly excited.

Cute name (can't approve of "gurl" spelling, but the awesomeness of Jedis cancels it out) and gorgeous dress! Such a fun idea!
