I went to Riu Negril in May, and my then boyfriend and I fell in love with the place. We saw a couple of weddings, they were very romantic and low key, just how we want it. We got engaged a couple of weeks ago and we were dead-set on the location, but I came across this forum where someone expressed some frustration when dealing with another Riu resort and their wedding coordinator. Although I am not planning anything big AT ALL, I still would like to be able to coordinate some details and if they are not reliable when it comes to weddings, I want to know.

Has anyone been/had a wedding at a Riu resort? any other suggestions?
