I want to 2nd that it's nice to hear from BridesMom being married successfully so long! My parents divorced at 20 yrs so that has shaken me more than any other statistics.
My fiancee and I are about 8 yrs apart. I'm 27 and he's 35; except when he turns 36 in June, hehehe.. bump that number to 9. I try not to tease him too much about the age difference since he whines enough as it is about being "old". Although I DO still love re-telling the story of our 2nd date. He was 33, I was still in grad school and even tho we met via internet profiles he STILL assumed I was over 25 for some reason. At one point he said, "So, you're what 26/27, right?" I shook my head no. "You're at least 25 right????" Right when the look of "cradle-robber" crossed his face, I smiled and said, "No, I'm not 25... but I will be in a few weeks!"

Hubby is currently playing a computer game across the room (yes, our living room is set up dorm style with our computers back to back). He just finished his last final today, so I figure I'll leave him alone for a while. I totally understand the maturity thing. Our friends think we're too old and boring to hang out with since going to frat parties just isn't exciting anymore.
