There's only a 4 month difference between my FH and I (I'm the older one) but he looks at least 5 years older because I have a "young face". We'll both be 31 when we get married.

I am exactly 1 year and 10 days older than my FH. We met when I was 16 and he was 15. Started "dating" around 17, he was 16. But we will have our official 5 year Ann. in August. When we get married I will be 26 and he will have just turned 25.

FH is one year and ten months older than me.  We marry in one year and six months!

FH is 3 years and 8 months older than me. and he too makes jokes sometimes that when i'm forty hes going to trade me in for 2 twenty year olds. but he only does it to get the reaction out of me. and i give him a lot of crap for it. lol

i too liked the slightly older ones instead of the younger ones because of the maturity issues. i dated a guy for literally like 3 days because i realized i just couldn't take his immaturity. but when i started dating FH and throughout our courtship i realized that he qualities that i didnt even know i wanted in a guy, and those qualities ended up being some of the most important ones.

ahhhh....I'm so in love with FH that i probably make some people sick lol!  sorry O:-)

Ok...I win the prize for the biggest age difference between FH and me - 13 years. Gasp!!! It's funny because no one can tell that he's 40 (I'll be 27 in 2 weeks) so they think we're crazy when we tell them our age difference.

I agree with you STBMrsSantiago - I tend to have better luck with more "mature" men - age difference or not. Brad is the best thing that has ever happened to me - I wouldn't change him for the world!

We are both 36.  This made both sets of parents happy, since neither of us have dated anyone near our age since high school.

4amwhispers dont worry about being so young I am like MrsSantiago and had my first child at 16 so I agree at least you are getting married first.

Now I will be 26 ( on the 24th of this month) and FH will be 33 (on July 13th) so there is 7 years between us. It's funny to think about it. When I was in elementary school learning my ABC's he was almost out of High School.

FH is exactly 6 months older.  I'm Feb 13.  He's Aug 13.

We are almost the same as buddysbeth--I'm 33 and he's 30.  But I will be 34 when we get married and he'll be a few mos. short of 31.  Nice to know others are w/"younger" men--although I think once you are out of college the difference in either directions does not seem like much.  It used to bother me more to be older, but I've let it go--too many other things to worry about :)
