I posted this in another thread, but was asked to post it on it's own.
Life is full of changes, some of which are good, some of which are bad. If you start a new job and it's different from your last, do you quit after the first day just because it's different? No, you keep plugging away, and soon your new job is as familiar as your old one.
If you get in an argument with your FH do you just quit your relationship because you hit a bump in the road? No, you work it out.
It's a lot like message boards. Sure it's a new format, sure there are a lot of people who feel that the change is bad, but can't change be good?
There are three times the brides now, that's three times the ideas. We have the ability to have albums now, that's a good thing! Sure the forums are different, but won't it be easier to find a post about a tuxedo in that forum rather than have to dig through tons of posts about dresses?
Before we all become quitters, let's give the new format a good go at it. There are going to be glitches, sure, but hey, we lost avatars on the last site and seemed to get over that. It's only been a few hours having the site up, let's try giving Admin some constructive feedback, rather than complaining that we just hate it.
I love new challenges not only in real life, but in my cyber life as well.
