birdcage veil
i really love the way birdcage veils look! i had a few ?s though...
would they look okay a lil longer (chin length), that way my baby would have a little anticipation about the "kiss the bride"thing? would it look stupid with a formal ballgown?
have any of you ever made your own or found some inexpensive ones? im on a VERY tight budget and cant go over lest we sell our kidneys...
please contribute pictures and sites if you have any!!
Thanks!

Re: birdcage veil
Yep, I've seen longer birdcages. And no it won't look stupid- most women who wear birdcages have a very traditional dress. I wore a regular veil for my ceremony and birdcage for my reception, and I made both of them. The birdcage was super easy, and it cost about $10 total to make. Just buy a comb, some netting and some feathers or flowers or whatever and experiment. I ended up making one for my friend's wedding too because it was so easy. My pictures are at www.pictage.com search for Eli Browning, and the event key is "ranch".
