In 2007, we asked 21 designers to create pink-themed wedding gowns, the sales of which would benefit breast cancer patients. This year, we’re partnering with The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), and you’ll find a new crop of extraordinary gowns.
When you see a dress with a “Something Pink” tag in a store, you’ll know that a donation will be made to the BCRF—not only if you order it in pink, but in most cases if you buy the gown in white, ivory or any color in which it’s offered. Because while getting married is a great time to be charitable, we appreciate the lure of tradition. So wear white if you like, but don’t forget to think pink.
