- Answer:
It will be very hard—almost impossible—for him to find a tie in the exact shade. Give him a swatch from your gown so he (or a salesperson) can see the undertones of your dress (every off-white has a general cast) and find a tie that complements them. His best bet is to buy something in ecru, taupe or light gray.
