Question:
I know that in the past, including registry information with wedding invitations was a no-no, but I've seen it in the last few invitations I received. Can I send registry cards with my invites?
Answer:

It's never OK to mention anything about gifts in your wedding invitations. Including registry information—even on a separate card—implies that in order to attend, a guest must bring a gift. Let your bridesmaids and close relatives know the shops you've selected and they can spread the news—if asked—by word of mouth. It is, however, standard practice to have your shower hostess list the store(s) where you've registered on those invitations, since the whole purpose of that party has traditionally been to shower you with gifts.
