Submit Your Real Wedding to Brides

How do the editors of Brides choose the real weddings we feature in the magazine? It's not easy. Each year, we receive thousands of submissions from readers who'd love to see their big days published in our pages. From those, we choose 20 or so that will make it into print.
If you plan to submit your photos of your wedding, keep in mind that the most important elements we look for are:
- Great photography.
- Unusual ideas.
- Gorgeous locations.
Be sure to include images of—reception details, including the cake, centerpieces, linens, placecards, and flowers
- the bridal party
- dress details
- location
- cultural, ethnic, or family traditions
Any successful ideas that worked for your wedding, that you'd like to share with other brides!
If you have the above, write to us and tell us why your think YOUR special day was so unique, and why it would be helpful/of interest to other brides.
Please send color copies of your wedding-day photos as submissions WILL NOT be returned.
