DIY Tissue Pomanders

Who knew making these pomanders could be so easy? Our resident noncrafter, Barrie Gillies, proves that even a woman who doesn't know the right end of a glue stick can create gorgeous balls of fluff.

4) Flower assembly: Insert eight finished flowers around the circumference of the Styrofoam ball, using the pliers to help push the wire stems in. Then stick five more on one side, another five on the opposite side, and one on the top. Next, take the ribbon, make a loop, and secure both ends to the ball with the straight pins so you can hang your masterpiece. Cover the pins with the last flower. Ta-da!
