Fall is finally upon us which means all things pumpkin colored and pumpkin spiced — especially when it comes to your wedding nails. Mixing and matching different nail colors to get the perfect wedding Mani/pedi combination is one of the best parts of getting your nails done, and the seasonal colors of fall make for beautiful combinations. Warm, earthy colors are flattering on every skin tone and never fail to make your nails stand out.
You may be thinking that you need to keep your wedding nails a little more neutral, maybe a french manicure on the hands and a barely there nude on the toes. Those are classics that work all year long, but this fall you can rock a manicure and pedicure combination that will turn heads. These are combinations that will look stunning and add a lot of personality to your wedding photos.
A good rule of thumb is to keep the manicure color subtler than the pedicure. This allows your ring to take the stage instead and leaves you lots of room to get a little more wild with your pedicure. You can go for traditional fall shades of burgundy and orange, or shake things up with gold and periwinkle. From traditional nudes to cobalt blue, your nails can match any theme and show off your colorful personality. All of these combinations would be an easy DIY for the bride-to-be with steady hands, or you can show them off to your favorite nail technician.
Below, check out eight mani/pedi combinations you will love.
Nude and Metallic
Keeping your fingernails nude will put all the emphasis on your ring! Deborah Lippmann "Natural Woman" is a beautiful light nude shade. You can always shake things up with something more bold on the toes like Zoya polish in "Faye," this is a purple and gold duo chrome polish that looks a little different in every light.
Pastel Pink and Buff
For something a little sweeter you can wear a light pastel pink on the hands like Essie "Topless and Barefoot," and use a deeper shade on the toes. The OPI shade "Yank My Doodle" is the perfect dark rose.
Grey and Khaki
This duo is coziest of them all. With a light grey on the nails, like Essie "Now and Zen," you can match absolutely any dress and a bright green, like Zoya "Dree," adds a very fun pop of color.
Barely There Blush and Orange
For a very polished but understated vibe, look no further than the Jinsoon polish in "Blush." This shade is so tame that it leaves you lots of room to go bold on your pedicure. For a nod to the season of pumpkin spice, China Glaze "Son of a Peach" is a really fun bright orange.
Bronze and Cobalt Blue
If you wan a surprisingly fab combination, just go for a muted bronze on the finger nails, like OPI "Inside the Isabelletway," paired with a cobalt blue pedicure using Formula X "Oceanic."
Gold and Army Green
For a very royal and sophisticated manicure, apply the Nails Inc polish in "Crown Place." It's a golden shade that isn't too yellow, and pairs well with the luxurious green of Butter London's "Smoking Slippers."
Periwinkle and Burgundy
If a delicate blue shade is what you're looking for, Butter London "Something Blue" is the perfect color. Paired with a bold burgundy that screams fall you are all set with a stunning mani/pedi. Smith and Cult have the perfect dark burgundy shade in "Lovers Creep."
Black and White
For the most high contrast combination look no further than black and white! Deborah Lippmann's "Misty Morning" is just off-white enough that it says fall instead of summer, and OPI "My Private Jet" has micro shimmer to keep things interesting.
