The "Girl in Your Truck" is now the girl in the gown! Country singer Maggie Rose is officially a Mrs. after tying the knot with longtime love Austin Marshall over the weekend in a classic church wedding ceremony. And the wedding dress is just gorgeous as the blonde beauty wearing it!
Before heading to Nashville for the CMA Music Festival later this week, Maggie Rose made a pit stop in Potomac, Maryland to tie the knot. She and her music publishing executive beau said their "I do's" in the Our Lady of Mercy church — where most of the bride's family members have also wed, according to People magazine. So sweet! "We were surrounded by family and friends from all over the world in my hometown of Potomac, Maryland. My mom and unofficial wedding planner Lizz Durante worked so hard to give us a special day," the singer said of the true family affair.
For the big day, a classic country crooner like Maggie Rose was in need of a wedding dress just as classic and chic. She found that in a custom-made mermaid gown by Nashville-based designer Olia Zavozina that featured a romantic illusion neckline, intricate baroque embroidery trailing down the bodice, and a taupe tulle skirt. A finger-tip length veil completed the luxe look. Meanwhile, her bridesmaids donned periwinkle chiffon gowns.
Like you'd expect from any singing superstar, the wedding's music selection was on-point, with the "I Ain't Your Mama" singer's bridesmaid Natalie Murphy, a talented vocalist and violinist, providing the ceremony music. Later at the reception — hosted at the Congressional Country Club — groomsmen Dallas Davidson and the bride co-wrote an original song titled "She's All Yours" for the father-daughter dance, while the groom himself got in on the action, performing a rendition of Joe Cocker's "With a Little Help From My Friends."
"It was a perfect day that represented Austin and me," Maggie Rose said of her wedding. "I couldn't have imagined a more perfect day or a more perfect groom to share it with."
