We just can't get those marriage rumors out of our heads — but the latest from Kylie Minogue is that she is in a relationship — and not married... yet. After reports surfaced that she had tied the knot in a secret wedding in Greece, the 48-year-old Australian singer and her 28-year-old fiancé, British actor Joshua Sasse, set the record straight on their marriage plans.
According to some Australian news sources, the couple allegedly turned Minogue's 48th birthday celebrations into a wedding. They had been enjoying time with their family and friends on the Greek island of Sifnos, according to UPI. The pop star flew her closest friends and family in for the celebrations and wrote on Instagram, "It. Was. Magical." The wedding, however, was not in the birthday celebration plans and was a rumor, according to the couple.
Sasse took to his Twitter to dispel the rumors, writing, "Apparently I was at a big fat Greek wedding...wish I'd been there! @kylieminogue #rumoursrumoursrumours." His leading lady retweeted his denial of marriage plans in agreement.
The best-selling Australian artist got engaged to her boyfriend of five months in February, and has been sporting an emerald-cut diamond ring since the big question. The two met on the set of the ABC comedy Galavant, in which Sasse stars in, and are reportedly inseparable. The Daily Telegraph reported the news, sharing "The engagement is announced between Joshua, son of the late Dominic Sasse and of Mary Heale, of Herefordshire, and Kylie, eldest daughter of Ronald and Carol Minogue, of Melbourne, Australia."

Despite the 20-year age difference, it appears that the 48-year-old and her 28-year-old British fiancé are very much in love and it's clear that in their case, age is merely a number. "People are pretty much leaving us to get on with it. I think the general consensus is, we kind of look right together. So even though on paper it might not look right, it just is right," she shared with Woman's Day Australia. It's obvious she's very much smitten with her beau. "Even if I try and act cool and natural, it's written all over my face that I am very happy," she gushed.
It sounds like a big fat Australian/British wedding didn't happen yet, but we're hoping the big day goes down soon — and we're certain it will be nothing short of magical.
