Strip club or Private Entertainment?
Typically you can go two routes when it comes to mail entertainment — head to the club, or hire a private entertainer. There are pros and cons to each, and ultimately it boils down to preference. Do you have a large group, enjoy people watching and maybe have some girls in your party who aren't completely sold on the private idea? Strip clubs are the perfect route for you. If you want the fun to come to you, have a smaller number and aren't really in to club vibes — consider hiring a stripper instead.

While strip clubs can be easier to come by, as long as you know what you are looking for, hiring an entertainer is fairly easy too. Especially in major cities, rely on word of mouth and/or the almighty Internet to help narrow down the search. A simple query within Google Business listings and Yelp will reveal local entertainers for hire, as well as reviews and (sometimes) even photos to help ensure your stripper suits your style.

What can also help you choose between strip club vs. private entertainer is cost. Whether you're looking to "make it rain" or are budget minded, there are options. For a pre-determined cost amount, hiring the party to come to you might be the best option. Typically a deposit is required, and the rest of the fee (typically anywhere from $150-$275 an hour) is due at the time of service.

Rather than paying the entertainers directly, at most strip clubs there is generally a cover fee paid upon admittance. As the night progresses, you'll be paying for drinks, tips and possibly private dances — so the typical cost of a night at a strip club can range from $40-$150 per person.

Things to Consider
If you have your heart set on incorporating this kind of fun into your big day, be upfront and honest about it with your girls. This way, anyone who isn't comfortable with the idea won't be blindsided or uncomfortable throughout the festivities. Provide the option to join the party afterwards for anyone who feels a bit awkward, and be open minded.

If heading out to the club, is there an alcohol or BYO policy? Many strip clubs and states have regulations regarding serving and stripping. What are the age restrictions? Certain venues allow adults over 18 years of age, others only welcome 21+.

Do your research! Ask for rates, preferred payment methods, travel costs, accommodation requests, etc. to be sure you're prepared! Also, request if there are any specific rules (touching, no touching, private dances, etc.) to know beforehand, and relay them to your gal pals to ensure a smooth experience. (No pun intended!)

It also never hurts to ask if the entertainer will arrive in costume. It might make any doormen encounters a bit less awkward!
