Dubbed the "Oscars of the East," the Metropolitan Museum of Art's annual Costume Institute Gala has become mecca for the fashion industry, where the best of the best flaunt the designs of the best. This year's theme, Manus x Machina: Fashion in the Age of Technology, witnessed the future of fashion as handmade haute couture met the machine. As starlets, models, and the like traipsed down fashion's biggest red carpet, we couldn't help but wonder what some of these stunning gowns would look like trailing down the aisle.
