When your wedding weekend arrives, your guests will be coming to town from all over the place. Whether it's their first time staying in the area or they are long time locals, having activity options and a pre-wedding itinerary for your guests is always a great way to welcome them to one of the most exciting and energetic weekends of your life. So plan ahead with these six ways to keep your guests entertained on your wedding weekend.
1. Give Them a Local Map
Let your guests in on the local secrets by giving them a map of all the best spots they should check out while in town. Star your favorites and highlight the best routes to take.
2. Set up a Scavenger Hunt
Put together a fun activity for your guests by setting up a scavenger hunt around town. You can even award the winner a prize on the day of your wedding or even the day after.
3. Arrange a Local Tour
If there are a slew of hotspots around town and a lot of out of town guests coming in, arrange a local tour where they can see a lot of landmarks all at once.
4. Write a List of Must-Sees
Make a top 10 or 20 list of all the places they should check out and see while they are visiting. You can even make one list of the best restaurants and another of the best places to go shopping.
5. Point Them Toward Yummy Food
Good food is a big part of a person's travel experience, so provide your guests with many different options highlighting your favorite places.
6. Tell Them Where They Can Relax
While some guests may want to explore, others may want to find chill places they can relax. Let guests know some options of places they can rest up before your wedding.
