Olivia Palermo at the Montblanc 110th Anniversary Gala Dinner: If you're looking for a makeup style that is endlessly glamorous, but also a little adventurous, look no further than Olivia Palermo. For the complexion, even things out with a liquid foundation, and then add warmth with a touch of contouring (use a light hand!), and coral blush brushed along the cheekbones. For the eyes, tightline the upper and lower lashlines and use a shimmery emerald shadow from the upper lashline all the way to the crease. Use a green/gray shade in the crease and at the base of the brow bone to give definition to the look, and finish it off with several coats of mascara.

Lupita Nyong'o at the premiere of The Jungle Book: Lupita Nyong'o is always adventurous with her makeup, so brides who want to have a little fun with their look would be well-served to keep an eye on the star's red carpet turns. This metallic moment can be recreated with a bold gold shadow from the upper lashline to well above the crease of the lid. Wet your brush before applying it to get the boldest look possible. A few smudges of a smokey grey liner on the outer corners of the eyes adds definition, while perfectly groomed and well-defined brows are the perfect frame for the look. A shimmery copper lipstick continues the metallic theme without competing for attention.

Anna Kendrick at the premiere of Mr. Right: Brides who love the fresh-faced look, but want a slightly more formal version, should take their cues from Anna Kendrick. Begin with a luminous-finish foundation, and then make the focus the eyes. Line the upper lashline, and just around the outer corners of the bottom, and smudge the line. On the upper lid, create a slight flick with the liner where the lashes curl to play them up without falsies, then apply several coats of mascara. Next grab a palette of shimmery neutrals and use the darker shades in the crease and the very lightest along the bottom lashline and in the inner corners of the eyes. The final effect is a formal look that is still perfectly youthful and fresh.
