Couple Rachel Cohen and Andres Modak know a thing or two about moving in. "We were setting up our home together and didn't see anything offering the perfect foundation to build our home around," says Modak. "We wanted really exceptional products that would elevate those moments of the every day that you cherish." So the two set out to launch Snowe, an upscale, design-forward brand that features high quality and affordable home products for you and your fiancé to build a home around. And now the home essentials site launched its one-of-a-kind wedding registry service.
"We don't register like our parents," explains Modak. "We don't have a formal set brought out for special occasions. We want to enjoy the best things possible every single day." That's why their site, targeted to soon-to-be newlyweds, features foundational products — every day dinnerware, barware, bath towels and sheets, and linens — in neutral colors that won't go out of style. "This is such a big transitional moment in people's lives," says Cohen. "They're looking to set up their homes and these are the actual building blocks to build your life on top of."
"Shopping for the home is complex and overwhelming," says Cohen, but Snowe has made it easier. The new registry will offer two choices: Shop as you would the site, which is sorted into categories, "Sleep," "Eat," "Drink," and "Bathe"; or use the company's guiding content — lists to help you find what fits your needs — to create a registry ideal for you as a couple "Our registry helps simplify and guide couples through that experience so it's enjoyable."
But the idea behind their registry isn't just about you — it's about your wedding guests too. "People getting married want to register for really nice things but, they're being budget conscious for guests," says Cohen. So she and Modak set out to find the highest quality products at the lowest possible price, making it affordable for your guests to gift. Not only that, "These products are much more substantial and will last with a couple, so it's a really quality gift as well," says Cohen.

For couples who might not know where to start, Modak suggests thinking about "core" products that will anchor your home, like Snowe's bath sheets, which are incredibly luxurious. As is the 500 thread count sheet set, available in white or neutral. "With these sheets, you can mix and match with throw pillows and accessories based on your mood," explains Cohen.
And the other anchor product every couple must register for: Titanium-coated glass stemware. "It's the kind you can use every day, but also on a formal table," says Modak. "You can drop it on the floor and guests don't have to worry about breaking it. You can also put it in the dishwasher so you don't have to hand wash."
The site's registry launches on March 18, as Snowe continues to expand into other categories of must-have home items. "The whole idea for a registry is that these products are evergreen," says Cohen. "We will build onto the collection and you can come back and add to it. We want an assortment that grows with our couples as they do."
