Here at BRIDES, we pretty much have the necessities of a perfect bridal shower down pat. All a bride-to-be needs is brunch (always a crowd-pleasing food fare), her bridesmaids, and booze. (That last one is always optional of course, but a glass of champagne or two never hurt, right?). From the looks of it, Saturday's bridal shower for Claire Holt, the Vampire Diaries and The Originals alumna, seemed to have all three of those necessities, plus something else extra special — famous friends!
Bride-to-be, Claire Holt, got engaged back in July of 2015 to her longtime boyfriend, Matt Kaplan, and it seems like her pre-wedding festivities are already in full swing! And why shouldn't they be? This to-be-wed twosome are definitely head over heels in love. (If that cushion-cut diamond engagement ring is any indication!) Holt even left her hit show, The Originals, to focus on her relationship with her hubby-to-be, as the show filmed in Atlanta and New Orleans, making quality time with her loved ones scarce and difficult to have. "I made a life choice, not a career choice," Holt previously said, explaining her choice to BuzzFeed.
Seems like that life choice was the right choice, with Holt snagging a role in NBC's Aquarius and her current status as a beautiful bride-to-be. And what does a lovely almost-Mrs need? A stunning bridal shower to match! Holt and her bridesmaids, family, and gal pals (including Mandy Moore!) gathered at Los Angeles' rustic chic restaurant, Eveleigh, to celebrate the bride's upcoming nupitals.
"Matt and Claire are getting married and they are also #relationshipgoals," Moore gushed on Instagram, captioning a snap of the bridal shower's tabletop décor that featured a lush bouquet of white roses and hydrangeas and a photo of the cute couple. "Oh and doesn't this pic look like a movie poster to the most incredible romantic comedy?" she asked. Um, yeah it does!

According to E! News, the bridal shower noshes included avocado toast, cupcakes, banana bread, pancakes, and French fries. (Yum!) And Holt of course got into the spirit of things, wearing a crystal "Bride-To-Be" tiara. Too cute!
If #BridalShowerGoals were a thing, Holt's bridesmaid brunch would totally take the (wedding) cake!
