New Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher bounced back from her Ben Higgins heartbreak in a big way. Fletcher is already started filming her season of The Bachelorette — and she definitely isn't letting her Bachelor runner-up status hold her back.
"I am connecting with these guys," she said on Good Morning America. "I'm having fun with them. I'm actually feeling feelings, which I didn't expect so early on." Umm with 25 guys hand picked just for you how could you not fall for them?! Fletcher's not just here for a little rebound from Higgins, she's hoping to end her season with the one — and an engagement ring.
"I want to be engaged," the 25-year-old real estate developer said. "I want marriage. I want a family, so I feel like this could happen right now." Fletcher's already figured out what she's looking for in her future fiancé and her wishlist is totally doable. "I'm looking for a man that can make me feel safe and protected, and somebody that I can trust," she said.
With so many eligible bachelors vying for her heart we don't think she'll have any problem finding that. It is The Bachelorette after all — the television reality show dripping in love and romance. Despite Fletcher's heartache of Higgins, you do have to admit that The Bachelor hunk did end up finding love in his final rose pick Lauren Bushnell, so clearly the producers know a little something about helping people fall in love in just 10 weeks, right?
"I came into this honestly feeling unlovable," Ben said to Bushnell during his heartfelt proposal (that took place in gorgeous Jamaica with an enviable backdrop no less). "Lauren, I never want to say goodbye to you. I want to wake up every morning and kiss you on the face." After saying yes to Higgins' proposal and coming out with her love publicly as a couple during the season's finale, Bushnell and her new fiancé have been on a PDA filled tour — we totally love it!
The most recent milestone for the new fiancés was — what else? — their first date! Well... first date off camera that is. When you fall in love and propose in four months a lot of a firsts happen after the ring is on your finger. The two celebrated this milestone event at a candlelit dinner in New York city with champagne (and Bushnell's sparkly rock). We love that they're sharing the little details of their engagement with fans and followers since we sadly can't watch it on-screen. But, at the same time, we can't help but wonder if Higgins and Bushnell are going to watch Fletcher's Bachelorette journey... Awkward!
