Ever since newlywed Ashton Kutcher tied the knot to Mila Kunis last summer, we've been dying for details on the Hollywood A-listers' mountain retreat wedding. And, finally, Kutcher is coming clean! During a recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the actor revealed that no amount of privacy was too much when it came to marrying his new wife, and he also took the opportunity to open up about what life is like as a new dad to his danger-seeking daughter, Wyatt!
Catching a glimpse of the former That '70s Show stars during their top-secret July 4th wedding was close to impossible! And now, Kutcher is finally providing some insight as to why, E! News reports. "That was sneaky," Ellen DeGeneres joked when discussing the actor's super-private nuptials (see the clip below). "You got married, and every time you've been here or Mila's been here, you've been really cagey about the whole thing. And then you went and got married without any of us being invited!" We couldn't agree more!
Kutcher explained that in order to maintain an intimate atmosphere (the couple tied the knot at The Secret Garden at Parrish Ranch in Oak Glen, California) avoiding the paparazzi's helicopters would have to be their main focus. "It's a legitimate concern," said the actor, "To throw the paparazzi off their trail." Kutcher went on to explain the extended lengths he and his stunning bride went to throw followers off the wedding scent. "I was, like, posting things on social media that were in different locations to avoid that, because we didn't want to be screaming our vows at each other and be like, 'Forever! 'Did you say never?' joked the comedic actor adding, "We didn't want to do that thing, so we went really under the radar with it."
The normally super-private new dad also gave an update on what life is like with his 17-month-old daughter, Wyatt. "She loves dancing. She's down with dancing. I mean, if I sing 'The Wheels on the Bus Go Round and Round,' she loses it," said the 38-year-old actor. The funnyman even commented on his new bundle of joy's favorite dance moves, which he confessed she learned from her talented mom! "She likes to 'Whip and Nae Nae,' too. I think she thinks she's doing it, because it's whippin' and whippin' and nae-nae-ing. Mama taught her that."
Despite her dance moves, the new dad couldn't help but touch on one of the most hilarious, and important, roles of parenting, adding, "That first year, you spend just trying to keep them alive. And then after that, you actually hit a point where your job is to keep them from killing themselves...She tries to kill herself on a regular basis. Like, she doesn't realize that's a cliff and that could be dangerous," explained Kutcher, "She'll just jump off the thing."
Thankfully, the couple's adorable baby girl stayed away from enough cliffs in an effort to join her doting parent's during their top-secret nuptials. A source previously told Us Weekly that, "Wyatt was great during the ceremony and didn't cry or make a fuss," and adorably matched her mom in a white dress.
This Hollywood dream team is definitely giving us #familygoals!
