What you need:
· Gift tags (also called hang tags and available at your local arts and crafts store)
· A fine tip marker or ink pen

Write the name of the person to whom you're giving the present on the gift tag in your best cursive. Instead of a name you can use a nickname, a Valentine's phrase, such as "Be Mine", or choose another favorite romantic phrase. If you need to, use a pencil first. And of course — be creative!

In order to make your handwriting look like calligraphy, make all of the down strokes thicker. The down stroke is when you're writing and your hand moves downward. For example, in a lowercase "a", you curve down on the left and then move up on the right to create the rounded part of the letter. That first curve down is an example of a down stroke. Go through your letters and draw a close line next to all of the down strokes.

Carefully fill in the area between the down strokes and the lines you drew in step two.

Add your custom gift tag to your present!
