It's the little things that go a long way, and when it comes to your relationship, this statement couldn't be truer. So sure, your guy likes lavish gifts and weekend trips (pffft, who doesn't?), but sometimes a good back rub and whipping up his favorite dish are the fastest way to his heart — without completely breaking the bank in the process. We asked real brides to share the small gestures that make their men say, "Best wifey ever!"

Doing his laundry
"My guy's love language is acts of service so I'll do stuff like make him a yummy meal, clean up the kitchen, or fold laundry and iron his shirts, all of which are things I absolutely hate doing! I can't stand how dry my hands get from handling the laundry a lot — but hey, someone's got to do it, right?" — Morgan

Giving him a back rub before bed
"There's nothing my husband likes more than massages, so I rub his back until he falls asleep at night. He loves it!" — Laura

Treating him to a lap dance
"On special occasions, I'll dress up in lingerie and heels and give him a lap dance that I've practiced when he gets home from work. I take pole dancing classes (for exercise) so it's the perfect excuse to put my skills to work!" — Jaclyn

Making his lunch
"Even if he has the time to do it himself, it really makes him feel cared for, which makes me want to do it. Also, whomever goes grocery shopping usually calls the other to ask if there is anything they'd like added to the list. This way everyone's needs are met." — Kelly

Fluffing his pillows up
"My hubby loves when I make the bed for him right before we go to bed. I spritz his side with a little lavender, make sure his blankets are nice and straight, and fluff up his pillows (and mine too, of course)." — Mallory

Showering him with compliments
"After touch, my husband's secondary love language is verbal affirmation — meaning he loves to get compliments from me — whether it be about his looks, his cooking skills, how great he's doing at work, or a special effort he made for me. Honestly, anything!" — Sam

Surprising him with little love notes
"I slip a little note in his lunch about once a week. When we got married, my mom sent me a book of tear out love notes to surprise him with, and there are a ton in there. I'm talking like 200! It's fun to flip through and find one that's fitting for that particular day or week. I usually add my own note as well, and he thinks it's so cute — but still has no idea where the pre-written love notes come from!" — Janel
