It's every bride's worst nightmare come to life — and it's happening to no other than Solange Knowles! Reports are surfacing that the New Orleans local lost her wedding ring from hubby Alan Ferguson during the city's annual Mardi Gras festivities Thursday night. Someone buy this girl a king cake — she's going through a lot!

When Solange tied the knot with her longtime love back in November of 2014, they took the Big Easy by storm, riding up to NOLA's Holy Trinity Church in style (on bicycles!) with famous sister Beyoncé in tow. And the bride's caped Kenzo dress? We're still talking about that too-cool wedding day look. But the unique band Ferguson slipped on his wife's finger that day took the (wedding) cake! The art deco-inspired bauble that features two white diamonds floating on a gold band is modern, minimal, and totally Solange. So it's breaking our hearts that it's no longer safely on her ring finger!

According to Page Six, Solange was riding along the St. Charles Avenue parade route with the Krewe of Muses — an all-female New Orleans Mardi Gras social organization — on their stiletto-shaped float when the tragedy struck. Amongst all the excitement, the ring must have slipped off of the singer's finger and into the crazy crowded streets. But the search is on! The Krewe of Muses posted to their official Facebook page on behalf of their "Honorary Muse," that Solange believes that she lost the diamond bauble between Toledano and Foucher streets and they're offering an undisclosed reward to the hero who finds it.

As one of the most special (and not to mention expensive!) reminders of your love and of your big day, most brides can sympathize with poor Solange. We're all crossing our fingers here at BRIDES that the ring's returned. And our hopes are high! (That sweet Southern charm is famous for a reason, after all!)
