15 minutes before the ceremony, I felt...

"A little lonely," said Tina from New York City. "We had a home-based wedding, and everybody who'd worked so hard to set everything up was rushing around to get themselves ready and gussied up — of course they were. My loneliness was surprising, but it didn't linger long."

"My nerves set in," said Laura from Nashville. "I'd been feeling relaxed all day up to this point. But when my wedding party lined up for the ceremony, it clicked that I was only a few minutes from getting married. After 18 months of planning, it was finally real, finally happening, and it hit me like a wave. I started to panic. My MOH noticed and escorted me to a private room to get some breathing space. My fiancé joined us, and she left while we hugged in silence for a few minutes. It was exactly what I needed, and I felt much calmer after that."

"Fluttery!" said Channon from New Jersey. "Butterflies were doing The Wave' inside my stomach. We were lined up inside the venue, preparing to walk down the aisle to our outdoor ceremony. And a rush of excitement poured over me as I peeked out and saw our friends and family."
