You can choose your color palette based on the event, so have some fun with shades and hues. The more color the better! We used shades of pink and red to celebrate Valentine's Day, as well as "X" and "O" letters for a festive spin. You can easily customize this project by using any letters — such as your initials — to make them unique and special to you (and perfect for your wedding!).
Make sure you choose various sizes and types of flowers to ensure every tiny space is filled — you don't want any of the wood to show through. We recommend cutting each flower down to the base and laying all of them out so you can play around with the placement before securing them to the letters.
The easiest method is to place your large flowers on the letters first, then fill in with the smaller ones. Alternate colors so they are all spread out evenly across the letter.
Using a hot glue gun, glue the flowers on to your heart's content, and voila! You have beautiful flower letters, fit for any occasion. The glue dries instantly, so no need to wait to start displaying your letters. Set up a nice home cooked meal with the letters as a centerpiece. Your significant other will be head over heels with the thoughtfulness behind these letters.
