This How to Be Single star won't be single much longer — if she could ever pick a wedding dress, that is! Actress Alison Brie usually stays silent when it comes to questions regarding her engagement to fiancé Dave Franco, but Brie is finally spilling on their upcoming wedding, her goal-worthy relationship, and how this totally "not very bridal" gal is planning to walk down the aisle while staying true to herself.
After dating for three years, Franco popped the question to the former Mad Men actress in August and slipped a sizable rose gold sparkler on her finger. (We're still not over that gorgeous pavé halo, by the way...) But besides a couple of red carpet appearances here and there, this to-be-wed twosome have managed to stay mostly out of the spotlight throughout their engagement. "We just don't flaunt it," Brie explained to Yahoo Style.
While it would be hard for us not to flaunt a bridal bauble that beautiful, Brie just isn't about the wedding world. In fact, she never even planned to ever tie the knot until she met Franco at the Mardi Gras parade in New Orleans. (Yes, really.) "I don't think I'd recommend it normally," the Community actress said of their fateful first meeting. "It's sort of outside of both of our characters." Guess these two are just living proof that stepping out of your comfort zone can sometimes really pay off.

"I'm not very bridal, instinctually," explained Brie. "Marriage never really interested me, I guess because I was very focused on my work. I wasn't sure if I really saw the point to it." That is until one of the famous Franco brothers waltzed into her life!
Brie's go-with-the-flow attitude about marriage unsurprisingly extends to her bridal style, as well. While we've been dying for a glimpse of her in a wedding dress, Brie remains much more nonchalant about her nuptial attire. "I bought a dress on Net-a-Porter, and I'm like, 'Maybe I'll wear that.'" Okay, Brie just won the award for the most calm, cool, and collected bride we've ever seen!

Despite this famous bride's casual approach to that walk down the aisle, she'll still be walking towards the love of her life — and that's truly the most important thing, after all. "I just met that person that I was like, 'Well, I'm really in love with you and would like to grow old with you,'" Brie said of her new opinion on marriage. "I actually think it's much more romantic when two people are like, 'Oh, I could go either way on marriage, but I want to marry you.'"
Suddenly, we do too!
