Congratulations to American Idol alum Colton Dixon and longtime girlfriend Annie Coggeshall! The duo married last Friday in Nashville in the most fairy tale celebrity wedding we've seen this year.

For their black tie wedding, Coggeshall, 27, walked down the aisle in a strapless multi-layered organza Vera Wang gown. "I felt amazing in the dress," the bride told People. "I love all the layers and the petal details and the long train. It's feminine with a little edge and a little high fashion. I felt like a princess at a ball."

"She was glowing and it was unbelievable how beautiful she was," Dixon, 24, told the magazine. "I absolutely lost it. Audible tears. And I'm not a good-looking crier either!"

But the singer did manage to hold it together later in the wedding when he serenaded his new bride with a rendition of Elvis' "Can't Help Falling in Love," a moment that was "so special," Coggeshall said.

To complement his stunning bride and their elegant venue — Nashville's Scarritt Bennett Center, which Coggeshall described as having a "formal, royal feel." — Dixon wore a custom suit from Korean designer By The "R" that totally embodied his glam-rock-punk persona. "It doesn't feel like a full-on tux," he told the magazine. "There's a vest with tons of buttons and the jacket comes to two points in the front and is short-waisted in the back, almost like a leather jacket might be. It's a Euro-looking tuxedo and it's very tailored to me."

Although the singer took his look very seriously he definitely made sure to have some fun with his wedding look. He donned a Batman t-shirt under his suit while his groomsmen paid homage to other superheroes for a total LOL-worthy snap.

After the pair got engaged at Disney World last September it's not surprising at all that they carried the fairy tale vibe into their wedding. Dixon popped the question with a beautiful square-cut, halo-style diamond ring. The ring is such a showstopper Coggeshall decided to forego a wedding band and, according to People, had Dixon slip her engagement ring back on her finger after the two said "I do!" A ring that gorgeous should totally stand on it's own.

Coggeshall did participate in a new wedding tradition — having a second dress for the ceremony and the party. She slipped into a champagne gold Monique Lhuillier mermaid gown and ditched the veil for Mickey Mouse ears, which definitely completed the look. "It was fitted, which Colton liked!" she says. "It felt very old Hollywood and I did a darker lip and changed my hair and whole look. It's a fun party dress."
