Looks like congratulations are in order for Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden! These newlyweds are celebrating their one-year anniversary Tuesday, but it seems like just yesterday these two shocked everyone with their surprise wedding — they never even confirmed that they were engaged!
After dating for just eight short months, the couple tied the knot in a short wedding ceremony — according to E! News it was only 15 minutes long — in front of less than 100 guests at their Beverly Hills home on Jan. 5, 2015. "We couldn't be happier to begin our new journey together surrounded by our closest family and friends," Diaz and Madden told People after confirming their newlywed news.
The intimate bash boasted an A-list guest list that allegedly included Reese Witherspoon and Gwyneth Paltrow. Plus, Diaz had the most famous bridal parties we've ever seen. Her bridesmaids included her new sister-in-law Nicole Richie and former Charlies Angels co-star Drew Barrymore. And what really made the wedding a family affair was Richie and husband Joel Madden's son, Sparrow, acting as the ring bearer.

After their quiet wedding the two jetted off to Jackson Hole, Wyoming for their honeymoon. A relaxing low key rustic vacation is just what we'd expect from these two after their seemingly stress-free ceremony. The honeymoon was more of a mini-moon with the two heading back to Los Angeles after just a few days alone.
While the newlyweds mostly remain tight-lipped on their relationship, every now and again they give a glimpse into their adorable love affair. Who can forget about the giant "Cameron" tattoo Madden has across his entire chest? There's also the adorable birthday message Madden posted on Instagram for Diaz this past September. "Happy Birthday to my Beautiful Wife," he wrote to Diaz. "My best friend and Everything else- there's so much I could write. I'm the luckiest guy alive- I get to spend the rest of my life right here. I love this Woman!! Many more Baby!!"
Here's to many more anniversaries to come for this duo!
