It's raining Ben! The premiere of last night's 20th season of The Bachelor started off with a bang — and the arrival of a mini horse — and ended with a crazy sneak peek into the rest of the season.

No stranger to the ups and downs of The Bachelor love rollercoaster, Ben Higgins knows what it's like to have loved, and lost, after making it to the final three on Kaitlin Bristowe's previous season of The Bachelorette.

The 26-year old dreamboat (seriously he's that cute) set sail on the hit show's newest season last night, and began his journey of dating 28 new women...all at once! The small-town software salesman from Warsaw, Indiana constantly juggled some "50 Shades of Crazy" moments from his first official night as The Bachelor, People reports.

And it wouldn't be The Bachelor without a hopeful assortment of love-seeking bachelorettes and their wide range of careers. Higgins was faced with a variety of beautifully gifted women including, a "chicken enthusiast," a war veteran and a set of blonde twins. Higgins also had the pleasure of receiving an onscreen dental exam from the show's VERY outgoing dentist, Mandi, who vied for the new Bachelor's heart by wearing a giant rose on her head, according to E! News. The tall, dark, and handsome Bachelor also received the warm welcome from contestant Maegan's mini horse, who — in our eyes — was definitely a runner-up in receiving the night's first impression rose.

Amidst all of the sometimes cringe-worthy limo arrivals, Higgins managed to smoothly make his way into the Bachelor mansion, where he was immediately faced with another contestant twist. Former Bachelor alums, and presumed season favorites, Becca and Amber, made their way into the mansion and onto the "Threat" lists of all of the girl's in the house. The chemistry between Becca and America's newest Bachelor was already detectable with the other, now even more nervous, contestants, voicing their frustration with different versions of, "You only get one chance at this!"

While inside the Bachelor mansion, Higgins met Lace (yes that's her actual name) who made it clear throughout the night's premiere that the heartthrob wasn't making enough eye contact with her. Despite much to drink, and much drama to spread, the Bachelor sweetheart ended up presenting her with a rose at the season's first rose ceremony.

So who received a coveted rose at the end of the night? American war veteran, Jubilee, and the 20th season's first limo arrival, Lauren B., snagged the floral trophies. Both of the twins received roses, as well as Bachelor alums, Becca and Amber. When it comes to who made the best first impression? Olivia, the gorgeously composed, 23-year old, who left her full-time job in order to steal Higgins's heart, managed to successfully do so by receiving the infamous first impression rose.

Stay tuned to find out all that happens on this already crazy season!
