Everything's coming up roses! The Bachelor Season 20's hunk, Ben Higgins, kicks off the anticipation of the upcoming ABC series by revealing his very eclectic group of bachelorette ladies! Contestants ranging from a "chicken enthusiast" to two previous ladies from The Bachelor Chris Soules' Season 19, round out the 28 hopefuls vying to win Ben Higgins' heart in this always-entertaining guilty pleasure.
No one could forget the heartbreaking moment when former Bachelorette, Kaitlyn Bristowe, ended her relationship with Higgins in the last season of the ABC show, but the 27-year-old new leading gentleman is coming back strong in the new season of The Bachelor by revealing his line-up of love prospects for the upcoming season, which premieres Monday, January 4th.
The network posted a list of the women's names and occupations, giving fans a first glimpse of who will be competing for Higgins' heart. Some of the newest, and most eclectic, ladies in the round-up include Emily, the 22-year-old blonde who's self-proclaimed career title is simply, "Twin," only to rival her twin sister, Haley, who is also competing for Higgins' heart. We can already see the confusion! Perhaps one of the most interesting professions seen in the roster has to be Jubilee, the 24-year-old beauty from Fort Lauderdale, Florida who calls herself a "war veteran" in her confusing job description. Another self-proclaimed, "chicken enthusiast" otherwise known as Tiara from Redmond, Washington, takes the title for most interesting profession in the 28 girl-variety-group.
Higgins' will also be exposed to some very familiar faces like Amber, the 30-year-old Chicago native from Chris Soules' season, as well as Becca Tilley, the runner-up to Soules' ultimate choice, Whitney Bischoff, in The Bachelor's Season 19.
With this diverse group of ladies, we hope that Higgins' can join the club of former Bachelor, and Bachelorette contestants who have ultimately found true love! Perhaps one of the most celebrated Bachelor couples includes Texas native, Sean Lowe, and his gorgeous wife, Catherine Giudici. After finding love during The Bachelor's Season 17 finale, Lowe and Giudici chose to tie-the-knot during a live Bachelor wedding at the Four Seasons Biltmore in Santa Barbara, California.
In attendance were former Bachelor alums, Jason and Molly Mesnick — who created quite the controversy after Jason broke off his engagement to his final rose pick, Melissa Rycroft, to seal the deal with runner-up, Molly, during the After the Final Rose special in The Bachelor's Season 13. After missing out on the famous Neil Lane ring offered to every proposing Bachelor, Molly received a brand new 2.5-carat, oval sparkler in celebration of her and Jason's fifth anniversary. Neil Lane commented on the proposal by saying, "Molly was the only one who didn't have a ring of mine and Jason really wanted to change that."
We can't wait to see what this new season has in store. Stay tuned for all of our Bachelor coverage!
