The most magical place on earth always manages to get a little more magical when an everyday prince decides to pop the question to his princess at the Disney World theme park. But pulling out a dazzling diamond in front of Cinderella's castle just wasn't the style of this particular Disney-adoring couple. For this perfect pair, a Splash Mountain proposal turned out to be their version of a fairytale!

Like any about-to-be groom, Patrick De Nicola was racking his brain for the perfect spot to propose to his then-girlfriend Annie DiMaria. After previously shopping for the ring together (smart move, De Nicola!), he wanted the moment he dropped to one knee to be a complete surprise — and his bride's favorite Disney World ride seemed like just the place to get a truly jaw dropping reaction.

This groom's super sweet proposal left them both dripping with smiles and tons of water! An absolutely hilarious photo was snapped just as their log flume dropped and this fun-loving guy whipped out the ring. Now, is that bride-to-be screaming because of that death-defying drop or her sparkly new bling?

"He had timed it perfectly!" this super-soaked bride said, according to The Daily Mail. "Patrick got all giggly and took the ring box out of his and asked me to marry him just before we dropped! The photo snapped and got my reaction of laughing, crying, while also getting soaked."

When the newly-engaged couple reached the end of the ride, DiMaria slipped the ring on her finger (waiting until they stopped was probably a wise move...) and then her entire family popped out as yet another sweet-as-pie surprise! See? Told you this was the most magical place on earth!
