Looks like bride-to-be Emmy Rossum already has her "something borrowed" nailed down — and it's stunning! The Shameless star, who got engaged to fiancé Sam Esmail early this fall, spilled all the details on what she really thinks about her vintage engagement ring, and what she expects from her pending nuptials.

Rossum first stepped out wearing her vintage inspired, round-cut engagement ring just two weeks after saying, "yes" to writer, and director, Sam Esmail, back in September. The talented actress dished to People on what she thinks about the timeless sparkler. "I like that it's old and I like to imagine who wore it before me and the life that they had," Rossum told the magazine while promoting Godiva's Hot Chocolate for a Cause, which gives a dollar for every cocoa beverage sold in-store to the Marines' Toys for Tots foundation. "I don't know the story behind it, but it's from 1920 in Paris, so I like that I've inherited someone's story, and I hope that it's a good one."

While shooting upcoming scenes for the hit Showtime series, the bride-to-be got to experience some serious foreshadowing for her big day — slipping into a wedding dress! But the bride-to-be was totally chill about it. Rossum told People that, "Everyone on set was asking me [if it was strange to wear a wedding gown]," answering with a "no, not at all!" The actress also gave insight into what she expects for her pending nuptials saying, "I hope that the real day is a lot more relaxed than a day of filming!"

When asked her plans for 2016, Rossum spilled that she "always breaks resolutions" explaining, "I feel like if something is important enough, I don't need a date to tell me when I should start it. I start it when I need to start it."

Well, it already looks like 2015 will be a hard year to beat! The adorable couple provided a rare glimpse into their top-secret engagement with a celebratory photo of seven Moet & Chandon bottles with the caption, "Signs of a successful game night...#aboutlastnight," posted by Rossum back in September.
