Saying a giant thank you to your wedding guests may be the very last item on your wedding to-do list, but often times it's the most important thing you'll do after your wedding. As you tear open the gifts and read through the cards, you may want to jump right in and start doing your thank you notes before you jet off to your honeymoon or simply just forget. But before you get started, consider doing something a little different or something even a little bit more personalized with these 4 creative ways to send thank you notes.

1. Make them extra personalized
Instead of sending out standard thank you notes, you can make them personalized by adding a photo, of either you and your married spouse, or a photo of you and the person you're thanking. If you had a larger wedding, you could put a group photo instead, that includes the person, so that they can not only have a thank you note sent their way, but a printed picture too.

2. Send them online
It's a less formal route to take, but consider going green and sending electronic thank you notes. You can make them even more personalized this way by sending each person a photo, or a link to your online photo album, along with a note appreciating them coming to your wedding and their gift.

3. Both of you write a little something
The best wedding note I ever received had a message on there from both the bride and the groom. When both of you write something, it gives the card more personality and shows that a lot of thought went into the thank you card.

4. Ditch the paper and pen
Get extra creative and write your thank you note on something other than a card. Perhaps on a piece of candy, a flash drive of photos, or another party souvenir that you can mail the guest instead.
