These days, it seems like Hollywood marriages that have withstood the test of time are hard to come by. So when we catch a glimpse of a still head-over-heels wedded celeb couple, we just have to stop and stare. We can't help it! One Hollywood duo that's been giving us serious #relationshipgoals ever since they tied the knot? Will and Jada Pinkett Smith. This too good to be true celebrity pair have held our attention — and each other's hearts — for 20 years now and it doesn't seem like that'll be changing anytime soon. In fact, Smith recently spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the secrets of his long-lasting marriage and his refreshingly honest answers are making us seriously swoon.
While walking the red carpet at the premiere of his newest film, Concussion, the actor opened up about his wife and what really made their marriage stick. Is there some longtime love secret these two discovered along the way? "We've been married 20 years and we've been asking ourselves [that]," admitted Smith. "Really, at the end of the day, it's just not quitting." Newlyweds, take note!

"You can't expect it to be easy," he continued. "It's like our marriage was the most difficult, grueling, excruciating thing that we have ever taken on in our lives. And you know, we're just not quitters." And after 20 years of relationship envy, we believe 'em! "If there is a secret, I would say it's that we never went into working in our relationship," said Smith. "We only ever worked on ourselves individually, and then presented ourselves to one another better than we were previously." Now this is what we call marriage advice.
Smith's 100% straightforward response stands out in a sea of vague quotes about always-lovey-dovey marriages. The truth of it is, the perfect marriage doesn't exist. All relationships have their ups and downs and it seems like this Hollywood couple totally gets it. We just know these two will be rocking their wedding rings for years to come — and we can't wait to see what the next 20 years have in store for them!
