If create-your-own mascaras, like Buxom's Mascara Bar and Eyeko's Bespoke service at Saks Fifth Avenue in NYC are any indication, it's clear that one mascara does not fit all. Some love the feathery, fluttery look, while others prefer kewpie doll-like curtains. With just that in mind, we rounded up five we're newly obsessed with — all of which will be perfect for your wedding, regardless of your style.

For long, feathery lashes:
If it's the ethereal, romantic look you're going for, try Touch In Sol's Paper Pusher Stretch Fiber Lengthening Mascara. The formula is made with tiny paper fibers that help make every lash look as long as humanly possible. (We even tested it without using our favorite Shu Uemura eyelash curler and our lashes still looked fluttery.) $22, available at Sephora

For thick, voluminous lashes:
You guys. Sisley's So Intense Mascara doesn't just make your lashes look thicker. It's enriched with peptides and vitamin B5, so it actually makes them thicker for real. You have to use it every single day for at least four weeks, but it's genius because the wand is really thin, with tons of tiny spikes on it to ensure every last lash is coated with the growth formula. You're going to pay for it — at $67, it's more expensive than most — but we love that when you take off your mascara after the wedding, and it's just you and your new husband, your lashes will look naturally gorge. $67, available at Nordstrom

For natural lashes:
Backstage during New York Fashion Week, makeup artist Gucci Westman told us mascara has been "bugging her lately," because, in the instances when your goal is to look effortless, mascara screams effort. Those of use who prefer the natural look agreed, but we think we've found a happy medium in Estée Lauder's Little Black Primer. It helps to subtly lift and define your lashes without looking clumpy or too pigmented. It's like your lashes but a touch better. $24, available at Estée Lauder

For super black lashes:
If you can never find a mascara that's black enough, put Givenchy's Mister Intense Top Coat on top of your normal mascara. It's really, really pigmented, yet perfect for layering because it won't clump. (You can also use it alone if you just want a classic no muss, no fuss black mascara.) $29, available at Barney's

For feminine, feline lashes:
Try pairing retro cat eyeliner with Maybelline The Colossal Cat Eyes Mascara. Like the name implies, it has a curved wand that gives you perfectly flicked out lashes. Plus, the formula contains collagen to plump them up a bit. We're calling the look 'Brigitte Bardot Getting Married.' $4.29, available at Target
