Theia consistently delights us with an interesting, ever-changing collection that features unique details and wow-worthy silhouettes. Often, the fresh take on the bridal collection comes from creative director Don O'Neil's very specific inspiration. One year, it was the Mongolian winter, while last season it was Art Nouveau illustrations by Danish artist Kay Rasmus Neilsen. This time, Theia's collection will draw inspiration from a more insidious source: The opium dens of the 1920s.

"For Fall 2016, the THEIA bride walks a dark and dreamy pathway seen thru the foggy haze of a 1920's Opium Den," O'Neill explained of his latest collection. "Inhibitions disappear and endless possibilities for her wedding gown shimmer in front of her eyes... fearless, and empowered by her femininity, this bride walks where others fear to follow."

We can imagine, from the inspiration photo, that the dresses will not only be sultry, but luxe and overtly indulgent, while the silhouettes will be extremely self-aware and celebratory of the feminine form.

With a sneak peek at the fabric — a bead and sequin light lace — we see these gowns taking a glamorous turn.

We're excited to watch these decadent creations come to life shortly! With an almost Oscar Wilde-like air, we can see the models confidently walking the aisle in shimmering, slightly slinky, wedding dresses already!
