Million Dollar Wedding? Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles stars Josh Altman and Heather Bilyeu have set a date for their much-anticipated wedding — again. But this time, they couldn't be more excited to tie the knot!
As you may recall from last season of MDLLA, these two called off their wedding because things became way too hectic (we've all been there). Now, they're focusing on their relationship — and their big-day to-do list — so that they can officially become Mr. and Mrs. Altman on April 2, 2016 .
"Heather and I are in a great place right now," Altman told Us Weekly of he and his fiancé. "We're happy and everything is good and we've kind of thrown out all the other noise. Last year we were trying to do everything at once and we couldn't, even though we felt we could. And that was one of the reasons why we canceled the wedding."
"I think that the craziness of last year really helped put things in perspective for us, and as difficult as that was, it did bring us closer," Bilyeu added. "It made us kind of focus on what we wanted individually and then what we wanted as a couple for our future, which has ultimately made us realize that we do want the same things out of life and for one another."
Canceling taught them a lot about the planning process, particularly sticking to what they want rather than trying to please everyone else. "Last year, our guest list had become the who's who of my clients, and it shouldn't be like that," the It's Your Move author explained. "It should be about us."
So now, with 90 guests in attendance, they'll exchange vows on the rooftop deck of the Aspen Art Museum in Colorado, which is more in line with Bilyeu's original vision for an intimate celebration. Even better: Altman's mom is the wedding planner! "She has great taste and I trust her with everything. And she's the only one who can really handle Josh!" Bilyeu joked of her future mother-in-law. We can't wait to see how everything finally comes together!
