The reason there are a ton of Maggie Girls out there is because Maggie Sottero consistently creates gowns that are romantic, accessible, and yet, still super stylish. For the latest collection's debut, we saw some of our favorite elements from the Sottero design house — lace and an expert use of illusion necklines.

In this luminous sheath, above, layers of lace create an ultra-romantic and timeless feel. It's hard not to fall hard for a hemline with scalloped lace, and a sheath silhouette that ever so slightly goes out after it hits the hip. To make this look more modern and playful, Sottero added a tufted tulle train, giving the look an effervescent finish. Plus, there's the allure of an illusion neckline, with just the tiniest appliqus on the shoulder.

We use this phrase a lot but it's extremely true in this case: This gown is better from the back! First thing is first: Just look at those expertly placed floral lace appliés! The back is still mostly sheer, making it a sexy balance to the sweet antique lace additions. The fabric buttons are a darling nod to tradition and also ground this slightly modern look as a classic. And the way that the tulle train billows from her body! We can't, it's too gorgeous!
